About HmongCoin
Background
The Hmong people are a proud ethnic group with a rich and fascinating culture. Its history dates back thousands of years, tracing its roots to southern China in the areas south of the Yellow River region. In 2800 B.C., due to political unrest and conflicts with the Han Chinese, many migrated further south into Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar.
In the early 1960s, the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency recruited, trained and led the Hmong people to fight against the North Vietnamese Army in what is now known as the “Secret War” in Laos.
After the conflict in Vietnam, the Hmong were further scattered throughout the world.
Today, there are over 6 million Hmong people worldwide. They are one of the most displaced group of people in the world and are found living outside of Asia in France, Australia, French Guiana, Canada, Argentina, and the United States. The Hmongs are a people with no nation, no voice (in the United Nations) and no currency - until now.

Purpose
HmongCoin (ticker: HMNG) is the first ever currency made by Hmong for the Hmong people. In the entire history of Hmong, no currency has ever existed for the Hmongs, restricting them to use the currency of other nations for trade, business, and commerce.
Today, we introduce “HmongCoin” – a new cryptocurrency based on the Etherium platform (ERC20), that has an authentic purpose for helping and uniting Hmong people all over the world.
This new platform supports the Hmong community by building and creating solutions devoted to improving the quality of Hmong life everywhere. HmongCoin will support the Hmong business industry as well as create market alliance through a cryptocurrency reward system that inspires participation throughout the Hmong communities. HmongCoin uses a decentralized review platform and transparently rewards people who make contributions that benefit the Hmong community. Looking forward, HmongCoin expects the platform to drastically increase the quality of life for all Hmong individuals, resulting in improved overall health and increased longevity.
